This page explains how you can request deletion of your Slatepencil account and associated app data. You can request account deletion at any time.

How to request account deletion

Email support@theslatepencil.com and include:

For security, we may ask you to verify account ownership before processing the request.

What data will be deleted

After verification, we will delete or anonymize account-related data, including profile information, student and guardian details, school, grade, board, city, learning preferences, progress, app activity, Slatepencil subscription-access information, optional profile photos, and related support requests where applicable.

What may be retained

Some information may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, billing, dispute resolution, or compliance purposes. Diagnostics and security logs may also be kept for a limited period where necessary.

Google Play subscription cancellation

Deleting your Slatepencil account does not cancel an active Google Play subscription. Open Google Play, go to Payments & subscriptions, choose Subscriptions, select Slatepencil, and cancel it separately.

Processing time

We aim to process verified requests within 30 days. Complex requests or legally required retention may require additional time.
